The significant symbol of the keyboard represents the fullness of life that La Sara experiences as she has fallen into the blackhole of addicting and endless correspondence online. La Sara merely uses the famous website of myspace to conceal her inner destructive personality as it serves as the façade of her innocence and appealing purity away from evil. The comments she sends out are a currency of good will that furthermore emphasizes how much of an optimist she is. However, the abundance of time wasted into the pitfalls of procrastination transforms itself into a continually tolerated amount of evil, which is highly ironic to the fact that this represents her aberration from it. With the presence of negativity surrounding La Sara’s everyday life, the majority of her friends fail to recognize the fact that she is an avid pessimist when it comes to discussing the subject of academic-related dilemma. Fortunately, La Sara does not take this fact into consideration, for she only entrusts her life to the mutual friends she is aware of that read her colloquial entries containing the oscillation of her contrasting moods in the realm of Livejournal. This serves as the outlet in which she is able to vent out her anger and filter it into a (hopefully) positive outcome, which is always seen through the optimistic atmosphere of her myspace website. (Xanga at this moment serves no purpose in this discussion.) In addition, with the powerful sonorous sense of music, the graceful notes in the forms of what we call mp3's on her media player serve as La Sara's environmental world, allowing her to paint a picture with the palette of abstract feelings, similar to how the visualization on the screen depicts them. With this method, she is unable to express her feelings pubicly but rather lives with it through the intensifying story that each song narrates. However, by utilizing the similar ideas expressed through these pieces of art, she is able to illustrate a picture of her own through uses of rhythmic and tonal representations of notes onto the composition on paper. This serves as her supplementary method of expressing her feelings.
